Activities are underway in support of our Health & Safety community mitigation strategies shared last week. These include acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE), promoting the awareness of important guidelines through the use of campus signage, and actively cleaning and disinfecting all of our campus spaces.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Face coverings are one of the four layers of protection identified in our strategy. Following the guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health, we are actively acquiring PPE to meet (or exceed) recommendations and ensure we have an ample supply on hand.
To promote awareness of important guidelines, we have designed and ordered a series of signs to post throughout each Campus. These signs will inform and remind the community about topics including physical distancing, handwashing, face-covering requirements, and cleaning practices.
Our annual deep cleaning is underway. While this task typically takes place in August, our strategic partner responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all of our spaces began in June.
